Ward 8 Councilmember Marion Barry Leads the Effort to Raise Money for the Ballou Senior High School Marching Band

Washington, DC—Ward 8 Councilmember Marion Barry is leading the effort to raise funds for the Ballou Senior High Marching Band’s trips to both the Rose Bowl and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Barry established, the Ballou Fundraising Committee, in April of 2008 with the goal of raising the required $240,000 needed for the two trips.
