“Life in Cuba” offers insights into the dynamics of change in contemporary Cuban society. This section features special reports on various facets of change commissioned from several of the nation’s leading experts on Cuba, including affiliated faculty members of the Cuban Research Institute. In addition, the section includes presentations in the CRI’s “Between Fidel and Raul: What’s Next for Cuba?” lecture series, and “The New Old Cuba,” the most recent edition of Hemisphere that highlights how a new Cuba has emerged in recent years.
